Kelowna Wins 5-4 in Double OT, Series tied 2-2
Harper, McCrea, Cumiskey and Murray score for Everett

Kelowna, B.C. - Geordie Wudrick scored the game winning goal for the Kelowna Rockets in double overtime Wednesday night to lead his team to a 5-4 victory over Everett. Shane Harper, Markus McCrea, Clayton Cumiskey and Ryan Murray scored for the Silvertips. Chris Langkow earned second star of the night with two assists. Thomas Heemskerk made 30 saves for Everett. The WHL Western Conference Quarter-Final best of seven series is tied 2-2.
The Silvertips took the first lead of the game at 1:58 after a Langkow centering feed from behind the net led to a one-timer goal for Harper. Harper's fourth goal of the playoffs gave Everett a 1-0 lead. McCrea increased the Silvertips lead to two after beating Rockets netminder Mark Guggenberger off a one-timer at 5:53. Kelowna answered with three straight goals to end the period. Spencer Main made the score 2-1 at 6:27. Wudrick collected his fifth playoff goal at 15:53 on the power play before Brett Bulmer gave Kelowna their first lead of the game at 19:06.
Everett responded with a strong second period starting with Cumiskey's first career WHL playoff goal at 5:39. Cumiskey collected a rebound from a Curtis Kulchar slap shot before going high glove side to tie the score 3-3. Murray regained Everett's lead on the power play at 8:20 for his second goal of the playoffs to make the score 4-3 after two periods of play.
Antoine Corbin tied the game 4-4 at 2:45 of the third period. Both teams were tied at the end of regulation sending the game into overtime. Everett outshot Kelowna 14-10 in the first overtime period before needing a second overtime. Wudrick scored the game winning goal on the power play just 46 seconds into the second overtime giving Kelowna a 5-4 victory.
