Shane Harper Joins AHL's Adirondack Phantoms
Winger potted 100 goals in his Silvertip career

Everett, WA - Everett Silvertips Vice President / General Manager Doug Soetaert announced Wednesday that forward Shane Harper will report later this week to the American Hockey League's Adirondack Phantoms, the top affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers. Harper, 20, was signed by Philadelphia on March 4th.
Harper, a five-year Silvertip veteran out of Valencia, California, concluded his Western Hockey League career with 214 points on 100 goals and 114 assists in a franchise-record 335 games played. As the all-time Silvertips goal-scoring leader, Harper set the club's single-season record with 42 goals in 2009-10, finishing with 38 assists and a career-high 80 points. He played in 214 consecutive games to finish his junior career.
He was the third Silvertip to sign an NHL contract in the last nine months, following Kellan Tochkin (Vancouver) and Thomas Heemskerk (San Jose). A listed player out of California, Harper had not participated in an NHL camp before signing his professional contract with Philadelphia.
